We Roll Deep: Your Saturday Wellness Reset
Saturday, August 16
Alameda Point is hosting its very own wellness mini-retreat on Saturday, August 16, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Faction Brewing, 2501 Monarch Street. We Roll Deep: Your Saturday Wellness Retreat will transform the waterfront spot into a hub for relaxation, self care, and community.
Be sure to bring your roller skates to enjoy an open-air roller rink by the Bay. A live DJ will be keeping the good vibes going, and a variety of guided wellness sessions will be scheduled throughout the day. Enjoy a yoga flow, sound bath, or meditation session included in the price of your ticket. There will be a dance floor, too!
A rotation of bodywork will be available for purchase, including acupuncture, massage, and Reiki. Stop by food and drink vendors to buy a mocktail or a healthy snack. Shop a curated vendor village of local makers and wellness brands to see what you might add to your routine.
Skate-Only Passes are available for $12 to anyone who just wants to “roll, vibe, and enjoy the music.” All-Inclusive Passes are $35 and include access to the roller rink, wellness zones, and guided sessions. Please note that roller skates will not be available to rent. If you’d like to participate in the movement sessions, bring a yoga mat, towel, and water bottle.

Sip & Create Japanese Matcha Drinks
Sunday, August 17
Stop paying $8 every time you need a delicious cup of green goodness! SIPS Global Teas is removing the mystery of matcha at their Sip & Create Japanese Matcha Drinks workshop on Sunday, August 17, from 2 to 4 p.m. Stop by their shop at 2215 South Shore Center, Suite B, to start your journey.
