New situations and time alone can feel a little overwhelming to her, so she does best with a gentle, reassuring person who understands that confidence grows one safe moment at a time. Visit Bunnie at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, 1590 Fortmann Way, during open hours—Wednesday and Thursday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please note that nap time for the animals is 1 to 2 p.m. and the last meet time is one hour before closing.
