Say hello to Moira, a wonderfully sweet and gentle 1-year-old who’s ready to find her quiet sanctuary. She’s a calm presence who loves nothing more than to lounge around and soak up time with her favorite people.
Moira is a sensitive soul who will need a bit of patience and understanding to truly let her guard down and reveal her more playful side. Check out this video of her enjoying a walk and this cute one of this bright girl quickly solving a puzzle (below) to get to her treats.

You can make her acquaintance at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, 1590 Fortmann Way, during open hours—Wednesday and Thursday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please note that nap time for the animals is 1 to 2 p.m. and the last meet time is one hour before closing.
