Your challenge? Create a shoebox-sized diorama featuring at least one Peep, inspired by a family-friendly book, movie, TV show, or creative theme of your choice. Use recycled materials, magazines, paint, pipe cleaners, and other craft supplies to bring your Peep-sterpiece to life! The library will even give you a free supplies kit.

Get crafty and have some fun. After all, who doesn’t love an excuse to play with their food?

Free Peeps diorama kits

Need supplies to get started? Starting Friday, March 6, you can pick up a Peeps diorama kit from the Main Library. Each kit includes a small selection of craft supplies to help you get started. Kits can be picked up at the Reference Desk on the second Floor. Please note:

  • Kits are available while supplies last, so don’t delay.
  • Limit: One kit per person or group.
  • Using the kits is not required to participate. You can enter the contest using your own craft supplies.

Important note for those who just might be interested in eating their supplies: The Peeps in the kit are not edible!
