Whether you don’t feel like cooking, the normal Thanksgiving spread doesn’t appeal to your palate, or you just want to try something different this year, there’s a restaurant for that in Alameda. This Thanksgiving Day, select island restaurants are open for residents to share a meal with friends and family. Here is a list of places where you can grab a bite on the holiday:

1400 Bar & Grill: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m., 1400 Webster Street
1400 Bar is serving a special Thanksgiving buffet in honor of the holiday. “Bring your friends and family by on Thanksgiving Day for a celebratory feast! $40 all-you-can-eat buffet. Bar will open at 10 a.m. and food will be served at noonish,” the restaurant’s website states.

The Hobnob: 4:30 – 8:30 p.m, 1313 Park Street
In addition to Hobnob’s regular menu, they will also be offering turkey and vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner plates. Check out their website for the full plate menu. And don’t miss Thanksgiving eve karaoke the night before from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. to ring in the holiday.

The Park Street Tavern: 3 – 9 p.m., 1901 Park Street
In addition to Christmas and New Year’s, Park Street Tavern is open on Thanksgiving during their normal hours. “Bring your friends and family by on Thanksgiving Day for a celebratory feast!” reads the restaurant’s website. Be sure to call to reserve your seating—(510) 671-2867.

East Ocean Seafood Restaurant: 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., 4:30 – 9 p.m., 1713 Webster Street
Another local favorite open on Thanksgiving, East Ocean Seafood Restaurant is family owned and operated. In their elegant and comfortable atmosphere, they serve Hong Kong style dishes, including steamed BBQ buns, dumplings, and sesame lotus balls. Peruse their full menu on their website.

Chef’s Wok: 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., 5 – 9:30 p.m., 1821 Webster Street
Chef’s Wok is a casual restaurant that serves dim sum made with fresh ingredients and imported spices. Some of their most popular dishes include the Singapore-style rice noodle, BBQ pork fried rice, honey walnut prawns, and crispy deep fried chicken wings. You can find their whole menu here.

Pacific Lighthouse: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., 5 – 9:30 p.m., 1051 Pacific Marina
If you’re looking for an elegant setting on the water with some delicious authentic Cantonese-style dim sum and fresh seafood, Pacific Lighthouse is the place to go.
“Our establishment features a welcoming atmosphere and a full bar, providing a perfect setting for you to unwind and enjoy your dining experience,” reads their website. “Immerse yourself in the picturesque surroundings with seating options overlooking the Oakland Estuary and the Alameda Yacht Club.”

Homeskillet: 7 a.m. – 1:50 p.m., 1363 Park Street
If you’re looking for a place to get breakfast before the big feast later in the day, Homeskillet is open for business. According to Homeskillet’s website, they’re known for their omelets, eggs Benedict, sausage, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, French toast, and sandwiches.
